Ruf Dug Presents The Committee by The Committee feat. Olivia Lucy Phillip

Rhythm Section and Ruf Dug Join forces again as THE COMMITTEE – this time keeping it in the family, with Bradley Zero’s sister, Olivia Lucy Phillip- on vocals performing a song written by their Dad, Lenny, in the Early 90s.
Bradley reminisces…
“ My Dad wasn’t really a musician, but he did have one composition on the piano that he used to riff on when we where young. With the repertoire being so limited, it soon became a household favourite. When she was about 10 years old – my sister, already a starlet in the making, wrote lyrics to the song, “dance with me baby” which endured for over 20 years…
Now working as an actress in Hollywood after stints on the West End and Broadway – Olivia, inspired by the original Committee EP – recorded a take of this Phillip Family staple in the Rhythm Section studio with Ruffy last summer. What came out of this session was an instant Lovers classic; a catchy pop number which, despite not taking itself too seriously – proves to be far more than just a bit of fun.
With Lovers Rock and street-soul back bubbling back above the surface, and the holidays approaching – what better time to drop this family affair, 20 years in the making!
