Solpor by Baiuca

‘Solpor’ is Baiuca’s debut album, a project that advocates the resignification of Galician cultural symbols through the pairing of rhythms, instruments and part of the songbook of popular and traditional Galician music, and cutting-edge electronics.

Hence, Baiuca mixes instruments such as cunchas, flutes, bagpipes or traditional voices; with synthesizers, rhythm boxes or programming. As close to the proposal of Nicola Cruz, Chancha Vía Circuito, Satori or Stavroz as of the more kamikaze faction of Carlos Núñez, Hevia, Xosé Lois Romero or Luar Na Lubre; The Galician culture revolution begins and ends in Baiuca.
