Shika Shika is very excited to announce the second volume of Passages, our series of mini-EPs where we invite artists to tell their story of migration through music.
For this edition we invited Guatemalan-born but now Paris-based producer Di Laif to submit three tracks that speak about his experiences migrating to a new continent, culture and language. These three tracks reflect Di Laif’s personal growth as he adapted to his new city with the music reflecting the flutes, vocals and marimbas of his Guatemalan roots seen through the new metropolitan, cosmopolitan and electronic lens.
