Matiela Suto – Colombian Singles Series Vol. 2 by KillaBeatMaker

Hailing from Medellin, Colombia, Killabeatmaker is a Global Bass DJ / Producer, audio engineer, singer and songwriter; a multi-faceted artist you’ll be hearing a lot about in the near future. Drawing his inspiration from his Afro-Colombian and Indigenous roots, Killabeatmaker efficiently mixes traditional sounds and rhythms with urban beats and raw club music. An active use of his vocals, freestyle, and beat boxing skills in his DJ sets makes him a thrilling live performer as well.

Killabeatmaker’s debut EP Fauna, released back in June 2019, is all about the diversity and luxuriousness of Colombian nature, how it’s being endangered and we should protect it. Here at Galletas Calientes Records, we’ve decided to include part of this EP to our Colombian Singles Series, taking in three original uptempo cuts directly aimed at worldwide dance floors; a half Industrial, half tropical adventure, packed with progressive buildups and Afro-House beats, all served by female singer NAKI’s uplifting, shamanic vocals.

This EP includes 2 previously unreleased tracks. Title track “Matiela Suto”, another deep Afro-House banger, will be released on January 15th, 2021, and on November 10th 2020, you’ll get “Bambú”, a highly danceable Afro-Bass track featuring Medellin-based producers combo Papá Kumbé.
