Más Allá by Ulises
Sol Selectas is pleased to welcome back Argentinian artist Ulises for his first solo EP, after contributing two amazing songs for our Summer Sol compilations. This EP contains four original songs bu Ulises, with remixes by David Mayer of Berlin, Geju of Moscow, and Roderic from Mexico City. In the artists own words – “The concept of the Más Allá EP is an attempt to go beyond the boundaries of the mental experience, trusting our inner voice to guide us into the expansion of our being.”
“Más Allá” tells the story of that psychedelic inner journey which leads to the dusty way of ego dissolution. “Pineal” refers to our third eye, which connects our consciousness, with a higher energy source. “Sian” pays homage the magical land of Sian Kaan, famous for its sunsets in the lagoon. “Obelisk” was inspired by a trip to Rome, where the looted Egyptian obelisks can be found all over the city, working as antennas of sacred energy.
For the remixes we welcome back to the label David Mayer from Germany, who crafts a beautiful version of “Sian”, picking up the tempo slightly, and injecting his signature Afro house groove.
