Flight Club №36 — Pokka

Ding!

The elevator opens its doors and you step inside, but as you reach for them, its buttons disappear and instead of the stale carpet, soft moss is expanding around your feet.
You don’t even remember if you wanted to go up or down, you just feel the urge to explore the world that unfolds in front of your eyes.

There’s trees you’ve never seen before, upside down mountain formations in the distance, that seem to defy the laws of gravity and the sky is shimmering in a minty green almost as if it was completely made of northern lights. What is this place? How did you get here?

Even standing still, you feel as though you’re moving. And you’re not sure if this feeling comes from inside of you, or if it is the world you entered. You just give into it and start running around, touching, feeling, tasting, breathing, hearing and you just can’t help but feel strangely at home.

After a while the sensations calm back down, you become slower and slower, moving gets increasingly tougher but you’re not sad about it. Instead you are content and blissful and then the world around you snaps into place.

Ding!

The doors open again, you are back where you started and you stare into Pokka’s smiling face.
She welcomes you back into reality.
Or back into the dream?
Who knows really?

It doesn’t matter.
