Equador by Ruido Selecto
With “Equador”, Juan Esteban Herrera a.k.a Ruido Selecto, exposes his vision of Latin electronic music as a Colombian producer. This studio work has brought new challenges that have enriched the sound of the project because the album combines various musical interpretations such as; the electric guitar played by Ruido Selecto himself, voices, choirs, trumpets and percussion. All this, without moving away from the synthesizers and the characteristic bass music sound of Ruido Selecto.
In “Equador” the African influence always present in Latin American rhythms is explored. Due to this, the music of the Caribbean, the tropical forest and the Andes are protagonists in the musical production.
